Rehab Radio: Memory Lane Monday

Rehab Radio: Memory Lane Monday

I spent a lot of time over the weekend organizing my iTunes collection as I am super strict about it since I’ve got over 20,000 songs on there and my music collection is a super serious thing for me. I know I talked a lot about getting rid of some songs, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Every song that I have is like a soundtrack to my life and the way I group my songs could be the chapters that tell my story. So I won’t be deleting anything. Even old school Bey Bey.

But it did get me to playing songs in the chapter called “Songs of Youth” and I was just totally recalling the late 80s/90s and how much fun and deep music could be at the same time. And the videos were always fresh and not always over the top and simple.

Janet telling us to enjoy the good moments in life and gn on an “Escapade” every once in a while.

SWV looking classy and beautiful while singing the jam of the year, letting us now they’ll always be “Right Here”.  And also coping that Free Willy soundtrack was a must for any kid back in the day !

And Groove Theory sounding Grown and Sexy with the unforgettable Amel at the forefront in “Tell Me”

Enjoy!
